Who says that you have to sacrifice style when you become pregnant? It’s a joyous time of your life, welcoming a new baby into the world, one that you will be carrying for 9 months of your life, so why does it mean you have to look frumpy in baggy shirts with leggings just because you have a little bun in the oven? I know comfort is the main factor when it comes to pregnancy, which is why so many ladies opt for looser fitting clothing, but I’ve seen so many celebrities, bloggers and women in the street looking fabulous and stylish in their maternity wear, especially when it comes to jeans! So, what’s the secret? So many of you might think that jeans would be one of the most uncomfortable choice of leg wear you can think of when you are pregnant, but that’s where Look Fab Maternity comes in.
Neon knits make staying snug look seriously good. When it comes to pink, we say, the brighter the pink the better. For an enviable look, combine cosy with chic and style a statement neon knit with knee high boots.
Don’t have the budget to dress in high fashion designer clothes, do not worry! You can easily create equally great looks on a budget, by finding similar pieces on the High Street. Or even better - maybe you have something old in your cupboard that you can style in a brand new way. When planning this post I was scrolling through fashion articles and Pinterest and ended up finding this photo of Caro Daur looking fab in a neon high neck and beige suit....
We don’t want to go all out rave-neon, but pairing one super bright item with a more subtle outfit (like a beige wool suit like I have gone for here) is totally doable!Neon colours make me think of summer and it looks like we will be seeing way more off it in the upcoming Spring/Summer collections.Soon (but not quite yet) we can say bye-bye to big chunky coats and scarfs, and in the meantime, we need to find a good compromise between welcoming the spring trends but also keep warm during these cold winter months. As this suit from Mango is made out of wool, it kept me nice and warm and combined with a bright neon high neck jumper, it became the perfect ‘looking forward to spring, but it’s still very much winter’ kind of outfit :PSOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEWI love it when you can mix in some of your older pieces into your outfit. For this look, all the accessories I used are items I have had for quite some time and are probably not in the store anymore. However, most of the items are brand new and you can find them in the shop slightly further down in this post.
