Buff your nails with a file to leave a coarse and sandy coat of polish. Then soak cotton pads in acetone and apply one to each nail. Follow by tightly wrapping each nail in a strip of silver foil so that your nails can absorb the polish remover. Leave for 30 minutes and then unwrap. You should be able to flake off the remaining polish by applying pressure with an orange stick. Don’t forget to apply a cuticle treatment afterwards.

If you have box-braids, you’ll want to tie them into ponytail with a stretchy headband and then wrap the ponytail into a top knot, securing it to your head with grips. Otherwise, try out a braided ballerina bun or a stylish braided chignon
